diy: Easter party favor bags
I can't let a holiday go by without making some sort of party favor bag.
{I'm still loving the valentine ones :)}
So using these valentine bags as inspiration, I grabbed a bunch of fabric scraps and no-sew Heat n' Bond and made bunny versions.
To make the bunnies, I traced a cookie cutter onto the paper side of the Heat n' Bond and then carefully cut them out. If you don't have a bunny cookie cutter, a quick google search will come up with a bunny outline to use.
Then just follow the instructions on the package and iron the bunnies onto small muslin bags. {Basically, all you need to do is iron it, paper side up, to the back of the fabric you want to applique. Then cut out a shape, peel the backing, and iron it onto the bag.}
Doing everything assembly line style always works best for me...
I filled my bags with little trinkets and treats...
These could totally be the ribbons for the state fair of crafting... ;)
Then I {just had to} doll them up a bit more with poms and ribbons and stamped "hoppy Easter" {I crack myself up} tags.
Happy Easter, friends!
