a rainbow ice cream float bar
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Wet-Nap but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #showusyourmess http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV As always, thanks for reading! xoxo
This weekend was the kickoff of our boys' baseball season. I thought it would be fun to celebrate with the team and make ice cream floats. {It's been a long time since we made root beer floats!}
Only I didn't think it would be 40 degrees all weekend.
What??
So we made the best of it...indoors...and had a little party with just our family.
Putting a float bar is pretty simple. Here's what I used...
I gathered a rainbow collection of pop {or do you call it soda where you live??}...I found the glass bottled varieties in the Hispanic section of our grocery store.
A rainbow of milkshake straws...I found these on Amazon awhile back but never used them before.
Vanilla ice cream...from Walmart.
A mix of jars and glasses {that I pre-scooped with vanilla ice cream and then put back in the freezer for a bit}...from my kitchen cabinets. Haha.
And of course something to clean up the inevitable sticky hands and faces...Wet-Nap wipes...that I also bought at Walmart {hello everyday low prices :)}
They all picked a different color and they all got a huge kick out of the treat.
Rainbow messes never seem that bad to clean up. :)
A printable Wet-Nap coupon is available for you here.
And...Wet-Nap is having a contest called the Most Original Mess Contest. Participants can upload a photo entry of their messy kids and share the link across social media. The photo with the most votes wins a $1,000 giftcard to Walmart and a year's supply of product. Voting will close on June 16. You can see all the details here. Good luck!!
