pet {monster} rocks
This post sponsored by Monsters University. All opinions are my own. As always, thanks for reading! xoxo
Remember when I came home with a bag full of play sand loaded with rocks? Of course I saved them...meaning to make something...
Fast forward 5 months and I finally did.
Meet our pet monster rocks.
Between Halloween coming up, costume parties, and all the talk of Monsters University coming out October 29th {just in time for Halloween!}, we've had a lot of monster talk in our house lately. So I took my littles' enthusiasm and my box of rocks and made a pile of pet rocks.
They're just as easy as you remember making in camp as a girl scout...all you need is craft paint/paint pens and a permanent marker.
Paint rainbow. :)
Make sure the rocks are clean and dry and get painting.
Then decorate with a paint pen for eyes, fangs, etc.
I outlined each with a Sharpie.
If you want to seal/protect your rocks, a quick coat of glossy sealant will do the trick!
And if you're interested...
