Like pretty much every other blogger out there, October's pretty much my fave.
Crunchy leaves, pumpkin picking, homemade apple cider.

But even with all my love for October, I know in the back of my mind winter is just a short leap away.
Less glamourous than the leaves and pumpkin patches are the cold weather and snow.
It's pretty, but it's cold.

I'm also venturing into new winter territory this year...Baby Sister playing in the snow.  Gone are my days of bundling her up in a tiny snowsuit and holding her while we watch the boys play.

Whatever they do...she does.
Right in the middle of the action.
Every time.

So a great option for girls' winter clothes on cold days is the puffy bubble jacket...I like how it has a fleece-lined hood and plenty of weather protection...so not only is it great for layered looks, but it will keep her warm playing in the snow or waiting for her brothers to get out of school!  {And the fun, girly details like polka dots {yay!}, colors and floral prints don't hurt either. :)}
