gifting: caramel apple in a box

I've been trying to send the boys to school each Friday with a little something for their teachers.

{I missed a few weeks since the donuts...}

So one rainy afternoon last week I made a batch of caramels {recipe here} and put together these quick treats.

Nothing more than a granny smith apple and a few caramel sticks in a box tied with a bow, but still a little something perfect for the season and to brighten their days. :)
