barrette jars
I'm still pretty new to the whole mama of a girl thing.
Boys don't accessorize much.
Shin guards.
Baseball hats.
Rain boots.
Easy.
But now that Sister has a tuft of hair worthy of barrettes and bows I need a way to keep them. There are tons of cutesy ideas on Pinterest, but I just don't have the patience to clip and re-clip barrettes just to store them. Tossing them in a jar is more my style. :)
I used a cracker jar (from Walmart), a candy jar (so old I can't remember where it came from...thrifted maybe??), and a giraffe topped pickle jar.
I'm sure you've seen these animal topped jars all over blogland. They're so easy to make.
Prime.
Paint.
Glue.
So easy!
Happy weekend, friends.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteVery cute idea.
ReplyDeleteLove the ideas!!! I, too, do not clip barrettes on a ribbon. Please share where you got the plastic barrettes...I remember having those as a little girl!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
