Weekending
We had a weekend that was both full and fun.
We started after school on Friday with an Easter party at the park district. Face painting, a visit from the Easter Bunny, bounce houses...life was good for our preschool crowd.
I take that banner out every year.
Meatless Fridays during Lent kind of limit the menu, so we turned to one of our favorite pizzas to fill in.
It would be hard to find a more patriotic guy than my husband, so the flags are fitting and not just leftovers from the 4th of July. ;)
I'm not ashamed to say I totally hogged the last piece of carrot cake for breakfast the next morning.
Saturday brought another birthday party. A year has gone by so fast!
Sunday was our day to catch up on sleep and projects that I ignored. I even managed to sew Sister's Easter dress--which I'll share soon.
Hope you had a great weekend, too!
xoxo
