Refrigerator tin storage

Inspired by Martha's clever idea, I made this quick craft for our refrigerator.

Getting to the flea market or antique shop isn't as easy as it used to be with three littles, but even our grocery store's run of the mill spice tins are still pretty charming.

This project couldn't be any simpler--magnets, glue, pretty tins--lather, rinse, repeat.

  14. Perfect timing! My black pepper tin was just about empty and I kept a heavy magnet that originally held a "to do" pad. Brilliant!

  16. Perfect timing! I had just emptied my black pepper tin and still have the large magnet that I tore off the back of a used "to do" pad. Put them together and I have a fun, new way to keep all those individual drink packets at the ready for those bottles of water.

  17. By the way, the lids from these tins pop off easily with a bottle/can opener. The hand-held kind most of our mom's used to punch triangle-shaped holes into the milk cans.

  18. Thank you for this, I made it and put it on my fridge!:) Looks so cool, I did it with the same Hungarian Paprika tin. Also, Michael's has magnetic notepads ( shopping lists) so I put it underneath. You can get about 4 notepads for a dollar around Christmas.
