What I did on my summer vacation
Thanks again to everyone who checked in to see if I fell off the face of the Earth or gave up blogging or went to jail. I'm not sure in what capacity I'll be back, but I'm back.
And now for the (very brief) recap.
I'll start with the biggest, most exciting news:
I'm now the mama of 3. And of a little girl!
We're over the moon, to say the least.
My days have been spent just like that picture...snuggling the newest love in our life.
The lint in my dryer just got a whole lot pinker.
But really, a huge chunk of my time away was doing nothing more than enjoying these little guys alone. Just soaking up our final days and moments as just the three of us.
I finished Big Brother's quilt. I'd say I'll share how I made the blocks and the pattern soon, but let's not get crazy here.
Yes, he's eating a popsicle on the potty.
When you've gotta go, you've gotta go.
And then there's Little Brother. Who very much wants to be Big Brother.
There is nothing in this world quite like a 2 year old boy.
So loveable. And, yet, absolutely exhausting.
This child loves nothing more than to test me right down to my last nerve. And most days, we get to that point before breakfast is on the table.
Our little seedlings turned to a full-fledged garden.
And if you're looking for a zucchini the size of your arm, I'm your girl.
When I left off, I had just received a huge, happy box of gingham. It turned into a huge, happy pile of buntings, which I'm very happy and grateful to say sold quickly. :)
And now, this pretty little thing is testing her lungs, so I best be going.
xoxo

Oh my word, that zucchini is HUGE! I have a great chocolate zucchini bread recipe if you would like. It tastes delicious. with a zucchin that big you probably could make five or six loaves and freeze them.

Cheryl, your summer was definitely better than mine :-). This is my first visit to your blog, so I took some time to browse through your earlier posts. I am so glad I did that. You've created a great spot for your readers to visit and I enjoyed the time I spent here. I'll be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
