Our Nativity

As usual, I'm a little late to the party.  Hopefully it's fashionably late. ;)

But I had to share our Little People Nativities that the little people in this house love so much.

My mother in law bought these for my boys last Christmas.

I love that they're tough and boy friendly, and not something I'm afraid to let anyone touch.

I love that the angels fly with Buzz Lightyear.

And I hope I never forget that both boys refer to Baby Jesus as "Baby Cheese Its" and that he sometimes even drives a fire engine.

Merry Christmas!

  3. this is so cute! love their names for baby Jesus and that he sometimes drives a fire truck! Do you happen to know where she got this? My mother-in-law showed it to me in a magazine this past weekend and said she looked all over for it to get my 3 year old son, but couldn't find it. Thanks! xo, cat

  6. Oh how I miss those days!
I used to find our PlayMobil "Baby Cheese-us" (that was my boy's interpretation) in the strangest places.
The refrigerator...under the tree skirt...in the pantry...
    I miss that!!

  11. Cute! I can totally relate. My son has been singing "Go tell it on the mountain, that Jesus Christ is BORED!" for weeks now.

  12. We have that one too! My son had the T-Rex attacking the Manger and Joseph and the shepherds were defending the structure. :) I've turned it into a saga on my FB page because it was so funny.
As I type, our Nativity is intersperced with Barbies, Buzz, Little Einsteins, and Buzz Lightyear. I figure, the more the merrier.

  14. That is just too cute that Baby 'Cheese Its' drives a fire truck. We have this same thing and it's the most favorite/sought after toy each morning for my sons. They actually carry the nativity around the house playing music and dancing and bringing all the pieces. This was my favorite gift they have ever received!

  15. I almost fell out of my chair when I read that last sentence. A couple of weeks ago my three year old daughter walked up to me and said "Hey, Cheez-It sounds like Jesus!"
