November 1st
Have you recovered from your Halloween candy hangover? I think I have.
Barely.
I've eaten my weight in candy over the past two days. I'm pretty sure I have a cavity. ;)
But we did have loads of fun this weekend.
I think Grandpa had as much fun trick or treating as my boys.
Even through my sugar induced stupor I managed to roast our pumpkin seeds. Yum!
So now the time crunch begins. Christmas sewing. Christmas crafting. Time to get moving.
And tomorrow...well, I'm very excited to introduce some awesome new sponsors!
Love the firemen. Adorable costumes! I really need to start throwing out some candy before I get sick.
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkins are adorable, as are your little firemen. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you have planned for the Christmas season! I plan to make and package some of your chocolate dipped marshmallows this year! :o)
I need to just bring the candy to work so that it is out of our house. Yes, it is crunch time...so fun, yet stressful all at the same time. I love the post below too...it made me giggle.
ReplyDeleteHow cute your jackolaterns have ears! Priceless!
ReplyDeleteWe roasted the pumpkin seeds this year too! So yummy! http://sewchatty.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletelove your post yes we are ready for november yet all the fun of Halloween and October still linger I loved the pictures as they were great with the subtitles
ReplyDeleteThe little firefighters are to die for. So cute. As for candy... are three oh henry's and a yogurt normal breakfast fare. Seems so these days.

November 1st is my favorite day of the year. Without our own trick-or-treaters our pumpkin seeds were roasted and consumed on Sunday but it was a wonderful day for pumpkin roasting & pureeing.
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments EXACTLY....bring on the Christmas sewing and Christmas crafting!! Yippee!!
ReplyDeleteFiremen! That's pretty awesomely cute :)
ReplyDeleteOooo! I <3 your pumpkin with the crooked mouth. I'll have to remember that for next year! It especially looks neat once its lit up! Love, love, love! (& yes, I did just get that excited over a pumpkin... I'm easily amused.)

Yes I am thinking about Christmas decorating now. although my pumpkin still stands on the frond steps. Always a daunting job to get all the "stuff" out of hiding from down in the basement! YIKES Love your photos so much!
