Yes, I do have a dresser in my dining room

Hi there.

Remember my $5 thrift store treasure? Well, here she is, as good as new, sitting pretty in my dining room.

I knew I wanted clear knobs from one of my favorite stores, but couldn't decide which ones.  So I bought one of each! (Yes, I'm blonde.  I came home with 7 knobs instead of 8.  Bummer.)

The paint is Sherwin Williams Icelandic.  It's the palest blue...love it!

  10. Wow! It turned out great. I love the color. I love the knobs. Are you going to keep them all different (well, except for the white one ;o)? I think I would like having the clear ones different. Kind of an expected little something. I love using dressers and chest-of-drawers all over the house. I even have one in my master bathroom!

    Great job. Thanks for sharing!

  26. Beautiful dresser. I love the detailing on the bottom. I just read your post that says you're from Chicago. I am, too! If you're ever in the Bartlett area there's the neatest store called Banbury Fair. It's in an old house and they have the neatest old furniture that's been refurbished scattered throughout the store. I was just in there today and saw the glass knobs you put on your dresser for $3! They have rabbits out back for the kids to see, plants to buy, an ice cream shop. It's so much fun. I think you'd like it.
