Help a girl out
I brought this cute little guy home the other day. Like I needed something else for cupcakes...
The thing is, it's just a little too...
Shiny?
Industrial?
Modern?
It's just not quite me. Yet.
Since food won't ever directly touch it, I'm going to spray paint it. But what color?
Robin's egg blue?
Red?
White?
Help!
I vote for the robin's egg blue...usually I'd say red, but that just seems to fit.
ReplyDeletecute I vote for robins egg blue
ReplyDeleteHi, I vote white. with white, you wont need to worry about frosting or liners clashing with the serving piece :) it's wicked cute!
ReplyDeleteWhite...it'll match whatever you put in it!
ReplyDeleteI vote white since it works for all seasons and special occasions/holidays. Just my two cents.

Minty green please, very retro...

White will be beautiful but red would be more fun! If I had this piece, I'd go red. It would be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is really cute! How about a pretty yellow? You can't go wrong. If you decide you want it a different color, you could always paint it again! That is the fabulous thing about spray paint! ;oD
ReplyDeleteblue! or maybe white..... I would want to go with blue, but would probably end up going with white to be safe. :)
ReplyDeleteWhite does go with everything, but red sounds awesome to me!
ReplyDeleteyes.
ReplyDeleteDoes that help? lol. Can I say yellow instead?
I think white... then you can spruce it up with fabric or ribbons to go with your party theme!
ReplyDeleteI'd leave it as is but use ribbons and fabrics to prettify it.
ReplyDeleteLove it! White!
ReplyDeleteWhat about Canary Yellow??
ReplyDeletediffidently yellow, it makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteRobin's egg blue! One of my favorite colors. :)
ReplyDeleteWhite b/c it will match a ton of stuff....OR you could just keep repainting it. ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst choice is light green! I know, that wasn't one of my choices, but it goes with all the seasons- and most holidays! If I have to pick another, I would pick white!
ReplyDeleteDo you think you will be doing a tutorial on the big fabric baskets you made for SYTYC? I love them soooo much!
RED!!!
ReplyDeleteI think white, and I like the idea of sprucing it up with ribbons to fit the celebration!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was BLACK, but maybe I'll vote with the other ladies and say white.
ReplyDeleteI vote glossy white... and glue litte crystals to the top of each little hump (for lack of better words) and use it for girlfriend get togethers. Call yourself princess for the day and invite the girls over for cupcakes. I think I am going to do that come to think of it... isn't it time we let our inner princess out?

Different thought flat black makes it look like wrought iron. Check out this refurb I did on a light fixture to make it look like wrought iron...

Im currently on a black kick.
ReplyDeleteSo my vote is black.
RED! Although I think it's awful cute w/o being painted. :)

I am so into yellow these days and trust me this is a great yellow! Try Bauhaus gold spray paint by Krylon, its fab. I did several metal pieces on my deck and I am in love!
ReplyDeleteI like the green idea...minty or darker? Or else white so it can match things easily.
ReplyDeleteRobins egg blue!!!! heck if you ever want if another color you can just repaint it!
ReplyDeleteI think it's totally cute. I'd go for robins egg blue, yellow or maybe peach.
ReplyDeleteI say Hot Pink or Starburst Orange!
ReplyDeletewhite so all liners and fosting will pop!!! have fun
