Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a great day filled with lots of treats!  We certainly did.

Today quite possibly was the greatest day of my 2 year old's little life.  He learned all he had to do to end up with a bucket full of candy was ring doorbells.

I have a feeling I may be spending a lot of time over the next few weeks explaining to him that we can't trick or treat every day...

And to the sugar-crazed kid who ignored my note and made off with all of our candy...could I at least have my basket back??

I don't know why this is still bothering me, but I've never had a problem with the honor system before.  Ugh.  Oh well.  Tomorrow's November and that means starting on Christmas crafts.  Yippee!

  2. Oh no, that stinks. I'm sorry you had some not so nice trick or treaters. We only did the honor system once. They made off with all the candy, my basket and smashed our pumpkin. I was so bummed. Now dh and I take turns going out with the kids and handing out candy. Hope you are having a great Sunday!

  3. I was glad we came home to all 5 of our pumpkins. I really thought they'd get smashed.

Sorry your basket got stolen. Darn bad'ens.

And I agree with the re-teaching that you don't get candy when you ring the doorbell thing. :)

  7. I can't believe that someone took the candy AND the basket. How rude!!! I'm so disappointed. Love the pumpkins.

  8. You know, that happened in my in-laws neighborhood too, one of the families went out trick-or-treating and left a container of candy and the kid(s) stole the whole thing! Ad if they don't get enough candy that night.
