How about a giveaway?

Sorry.  Contest is now closed.

I'm in the middle of a bunch of projects that I want to post about, so I need a little time to collect my thoughts...in the meantime, I'll have my first giveaway.

How does a subscription to my all time favorite mag, Martha Stewart Living, sound?  Good?  Good.

I have an extra subscription and I'd love to share it.  Just leave a comment for me about your favorite Martha project/craft/recipe/etc. and I'll pick a winner on Friday.

ps. I'll randomly choose a winner.  Hearing about the projects is just for fun!

  6. There's hardly been a "good thing" that I haven't loved, but one of my all time favorites was when she took kitchen towels (I think they said the days of the week on them) and sewed them together to make a valance for the kithcn. Genius!

  9. One of my fave ideas is one I found on her website, and I love it because ANYONE can do it, and it is SO cute! It is weaving ribbons on a gift, it adds so much with very little effort.

  10. I was flipping through her Encylopedia of Crafts (CRAZY AWESOME!!)and spotted roughly 59 ideas I wanted to go home and try immediately. I almost bought the book...but it was 35 bucks. Ouch. I can't pick my favorite idea, though...:)

  13. Can I just say, we just got cable, and I can't find her show! I have been searching. I really really want to watch it! I guess getting the mag would be the next best thing (hint, hint). I have been having fun perusing her website and finding all sorts of halloween decor ideas. I love the canned foods cans into halloween (or any holiday) luminaries. In fact, I am most certainly doing that this year.

  14. I love love LOVE her recipe in everyday FOOD for baked shells with winter squash. You can make it with whole wheat pasta so it's healthier, and the best part? You get to use frozen puree so you don't have to chop a squash up. I'd probably lose a finger if I had to do it the hard way!

  19. Thanks for visiting my blog and I've signed up to follow you. Mmmm...my favorite Martha project... There was an artical on tea staining sheet music that was in her magazine years ago. I love music and it's a wonderful way to add instant age and make ordinary sheet music frame-worthy. Thanks for the giveaway!

  21. You ARE my cool friend Cheryl. This is fantastic. I am currently pouring over her Halloween ideas. She does a fab "spooktcular" chocolate cake with marshmallow "bones".

    Great choice for the giveaway.

  22. I love to read her to do list for the month. It really blows my mind all the things she does on a regular basis. Makes me tired just reading the list.
