Thrifty finds

I had some time for thrifting today. I managed to come home with lots of treasures!

I couldn't believe it when I saw a shelf full of this beautiful milkglass. I couldn't resist and bought them all! For $2 each, I think they were a bargain.

The vase might not be anything special, and with its cheesy distressing, it's probably pretty new and not a vintage piece, but I just adore the green! I think it'll look great with big, blooming roses or peonies.

I've been searching for a big bowl like those two little ones for the longest time, so I had to snatch them up. Hopefully a big one will be right around the corner. (How sweet will they look filled with ripe summer cherries?)

I hit the jackpot on glass candy jars for sure. I think they were each $2 or $3. The one all the way on the right reminds me of one my grandma used to have. I know they're going to look great on the table at the shower I'm hosting for my sister in a few weeks.

$1 basket. Yes, it is a super ugly, tacky pink. But after yesterday's project, I know I will love it sprayed heirloom white with painted numbers.

Now this one may not be a thrift store find, but it was a bargain nonetheless. 4 bucks at Target. Woo hoo end of summer clearance! It's going to look great filled with mason jars and flowers.

And don't forget to head over to Kimba's for lots of great projects on DIY Thursday!
