5 minute floral arrangement

I love having fresh flowers in the house and the daisies in our yard are my go-to when I need a quick and easy arrangement. I trim a bunch and grab my favorite type of vase, a mason jar.

To keep your flowers perfectly placed, make a lattice pattern out of tape across the top of the vase. Poke the stems through the grid. Remember to trim any leaves from the portion of the stem that will be immersed in water. The water will stay much cleaner and clearer.

I love the simplicity and that it's just so pretty tied with a navy polka dot ribbon! I'll fill a few other jars and tie them with red ribbons to be festive.
A hint: if you often tie ribbons around your vases like I love to do, keep the ribbons in an envelope tucked in that vase when you're not using it. It'll save you the hassle of guessing which ribbon fits which vase and will also save you from continuously cutting new pieces of ribbon.

Hope you all have a great 4th of July!

  9. Hi Cheryl,
I stumbled across your blog and looks like you have a lot of fun over here. I love the idea of adding tape to hold the flowers in place. I've used jars as flower vases for awhile but never thought of about adding tape. Thanks for sharing! I read your comment on Lindsey's Blog (I think that where I found ya) that you will soon be hosting a baby shower. Stop by Domestic Princes in Training (my blog). I have a post with a few cute but inexpensive ideas. You'll have to look under older post. It was one of my 1st posts so it won’t be on the main page. Hope you see something you can use.
Anywho hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm now a follower. I hate saying that. It sounds kind of creepy but I like to know when people add me so I always tell people as well.
